Updated: 5 days ago
Purpose: The International Coaching Federation (ICF) Georgia Chapter Government Community of Practice (CP) supports coaching in the government sector by providing targeted resources, professional development, and networking opportunities for internal and external coaches and others who are interested in government coaching.
Participants: The CP is open to all levels of government internal & external coaches at the federal, state, and local levels. Additionally, non-federal coaches and those interested in supporting government coaching are invited to participate.
Organization: The ICF Georgia Government Community of Practice is led by a small steering committee consisting of two (2) advisors from the ICF Georgia chapter, one (1) member from the federal government in Atlanta, and three (3) trained coaches who also serve in federal, state, or local governments in Georgia.
The CP operates at no cost to the ICF Georgia chapter or to any government agency.
There is no formal membership for the CP. All participants are included in the ICF Georgia Government CP distribution list. ICF Georgia manages the list to ensure it remains current and accurate. The distribution list is not shared with outside individuals, vendors or organizations.
The CP steering committee plans and hosts monthly and/or quarterly forums with no cost for attendance.
The ICF Georgia CP partners with government organizations to support the benefits of professional coaching in all government sectors.
