Join us at The Big ICF-GA March VIRTUAL Meeting featuring Rachelle Stone.

    Event Description:

As a coach, we partner and support our clients through their life’s challenges and goals, helping them design and live their optimum life. Often, stress, work/life balance, and boundaries are topics that we as a coach, partner with our client to navigate through better management.

But how are you as a coach managing your own stress? Are you walking the talk you have with your clients or simply giving lip service? Unmanaged stress can lead to languishing, burnout and even depression if not properly managed. Let’s be fair and honest here, as coaches, many of us are wearing multiple hats to make ends meet — and we do so often at the expense of our own wellbeing.

Today, fellow coach and burnout survivor Rachelle Stone will lead a conversation with us around stress and burnout. What to look for in yourself and others, what you can expect if you choose to do nothing about it, and valuable tools to support both you as a coach, and your clients, in better managing that stress so you don’t burn out. Rachelle will close out our time together taking us through a boundary setting exercise for your toolbox and open Q&A.

    Learning outcomes:

    1. You will gain a clear understanding of exactly what burnout is, and its potential cost to you (and your clients) mentally, physically and financially.
    2. You will learn to recognize how unmanaged stress shows up in yourself as a coach, and, what to look for in your clients so you can better support them.
    3. You will receive a Gainers and Drainers tool to support yourself and clients in better managing stress in order to avoid burning out.
    4. You will be walked through a boundary setting exercise for your toolbox along with practicing saying / setting boundaries with others.

Continuing Coach Education Units (CCEU):  TBD

    Featured Speaker:

Rachelle spent over 25 years in the DMC/Meetings industry in Miami.  She was consistently recognized as one of the Top 25 DMCs in the country all while remaining active in her industry associations. She served as President of a national consortium of DMCs, sat for over 14 years on the ADMEI board of directors, all while winning multiple awards for being a respected industry top producer year after year. In 2014, after bringing an under-producing DMC business to over $5m in less than a year, she hit a level of burnout that was wholly unexpected and unacceptable to her, resulting in early retirement at 48.

Now as a trained Executive & Leadership Coach, Rachelle has made it her mission to combine this hard-won wisdom and experience to crack the code on burnout and balance for others. Rachelle is Brené Brown Dare to Lead ™ trained, a Certified Positive Intelligence Mental Fitness ™ coach, and, accredited by the International Coaching Federation (ICF) as a Professional Certified Coach. Rachelle continues to show her commitment and support to the next generation of coaches by serving on the ICF-Central Florida chapter board of directors, supporting those new to the industry and mentor coaching other coaches to obtain their advanced coaching credentials.

Rachelle manages her own wellbeing by practicing kickboxing and Pilates daily and has rescued and re-homed over 26 Pugs.
